Canton Summer Softball is open to girls who are interested playing competitive softball. Players are expected to make every effort to attend all practices and games and should not miss anymore than 2 games during the season. The season begins June 17th and concludes with playoffs the last week of July. The 12U and 18U teams play mostly on Monday and Wednesday nights and the 14U and 10U teams play mostly on Tuesday and Thursday nights. This year, there will be games on July 2 and 3 but none on July 4 or 5. All games are played in Canton and surrounding communities. Teams are entered into the Hockomock Girls Summer Softball League, more information can be found at www.hgssl.org
 
Age divisions are 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U  according to the age guidelines established by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA), see age chart below
